Rather, they are the Words of Desperate and Unprincipled People.
I am offended by the favorite shouting point of Republican Leaders like John Boehner. He yells out that Democrats are defying the will of the American people… that the American people want the health careĀ bill to fail…that the American people are united against the health, climate change, financial regulation and almost every other initiative of the Congressional Democrats… that the Democratic Party are saying “no” to the American people.
I am an American person and he is not speaking for me. In fact, in the last two elections the American people have said “no” to Boehner and the Republicans.
Mr Boehner, I believe that you rather than the Democrats are being arrogant and hypocritical. I understand politics, but your hyperbole- and distortion-filled diatribes incite fear and hatred rather than understanding. You create division rather than offer vision. Your party is on record saying that defeating the health care bill was about defeating Obama, rather than solving a critical problem for the American people.
